I know it seams (pun intended) like an odd question but it directly relates to the other question I asked about measuring your baby poll since I%26#039;m working on drafting a pattern.

Odd Question...Which do you prefer on your childs clothing; velcro, snaps, buttons, or zippers?
Snaps, its easy and quick, even more so when the child is young and they are fighting the whole getting dressed thing. Buttons take too long and can come undone in an active child, Velcro just won%26#039;t stay together, and zippers again, the whole active child thing lol

Reply:Snaps work fine for my baby!!! Velcro can open easily, buttons take precious time when you are dressing or undressing your baby and zippers go fine with sleppers or pijamas, but you have to look for those specially made for babies.
Reply:I think for me it depends on the outfit. For nice sweaters and outfits I prefer the look of buttons on the front or back. For the diaper area snaps are most convenient.

Reply:I always preferred buttons, snaps always came upon and velcro wears out easily. Other than jackets and pajamas they didn%26#039;t have too many zippers.

Reply:I like buttons so the child can learn how to button and unbutton his/her clothes. snaps are easier......velcro tends to pick up a lot of lint and stick to everything when you wash it.
