Zippers - Is it possible to fix a zipper on a jacket?

When I zip it up, the bottom or middle becomes undone

Zippers - Is it possible to fix a zipper on a jacket?
It sounds like the part that locks the teeth together has opened some . Take a pair of pliars and gently squeez just a tiny bit on each side of the pull , that should work .If it has come off the track on one side you can slightly pry open a metal only part not plastic. Put the two sides together , line them up at the bottom take a pair of pliars and gently squeez it back to normal . If you squeez it too much it will not zip up. If you open it too much it will break. If the zipper has teeth missing you will have to replace the whole zipper. If the stops at the top or bottom are missing you can sew enough thread in one spot to make one or you can buy replacement parts at a fabric store.
Reply:Best thing to do is to take it to a seamstress, usless you are one. The zipper sounds like it has seen its better days and needs to be replaced.
Reply:that is the most annoying thing ever but take the other guys advice hes got it
